Long Nguyen has died, aged 59

Vietnamese born stylist and critic Long Nguyen, co-founder of Flaunt magazine and a front row fixture for decades, has died after a long illness. In a tribute written by his friend Christina Binkley, the journalist who worked at Detour (as style director) and Dolce & Gabbana (leading the VIP effort from 1988-1994) before launching the prestigious independent publication in 1998, Nguyen described him as “a walking history book of fashion, of which much of his life” and a man who had an “extraordinary career”. Stylist, street style expert and influencer Tina Leung will soon be appearing on TV screens as she reveals she will be appearing in Bling Empire. She revealed that she would be appearing in Bling Empire: New York City when she shared the trailer last night. The spin-off version of the original series focusing on the mega-rich Asian-Americans of Beverly Hills will hit Netflix today, and in the new version, Leung joins her friend and OG cast member Dorothy Wang as she navigates life and love after moving to the East Coast.
